About Our Business

We started this business as we saw the traffic problem
in Nashville getting worse and it was such a hassle to
deal with the ever expanding range of the rush hour
traffic time.

Who'd want to have to leave work during an extended
lunch hour or have to go out of their way after work to get
errands done?

Our founder had to drive from Nashville to Clarksville and
back every day, a 57-mile one way drive, to go to his
previous job at CPA/Financial Planning firm, for years.  He
knew exactly what rush hour was like since he had to
drive north into downtown, get through downtown and
then drive through north Nashville towards that long ride
away from home.
Since our founder, Jerry Lifsey, was somewhat multi-talented and having
been asked to solve a lot of his friends', family and co-workers' technical
problems, he saw a need for this service that could benefit a lot more people
in a lot of ways.

About Jerry

Hi, my name is Jerry Lifsey.

I've always been an entrepreneur and a creator.  It's
almost been an annoyance to people that know me
best.  I'm always thinking about how something can
be done better or what new process can be
created.

Having been a Financial Advisor for years, having an
AAS degree in Accounting Information Systems,  a
BBA in Business Finance and an MBA in Finance, I
decided that I have too many talents to keep them
all bundled up.
I called this venture "Marathon
Errands" because after years of
long-distance bike racing, I recently
decided to run in my first marathon.
I've been training for the Country Music
Marathon (on April 28, 2007) since
November 1, 2006.  I have since run in
my second marathon in the Lasalle
Bank/Chicago Marathon on October 7,
2007, my 3rd on 4/26/2008 in the
Country Music Marathon.  I rode in the
3-state, 3-mountain on 5//3/2008, I'll be
running in the Chicago Marathon on
10/12/2008, and riding in the El Tour de
Tucson Century on 11/22/2008.
